With a passion for image making, my work stems an innate sensibility to provide a high level of execution with limited means of production. I have a range of experience from corporate branding, concept development and digital illustration; to vision boarding, photo shoot art direction and photography.
I landed in New York the Fall of 2005 to pursue a BA in Design & Management at Parsons. A time of introspection, the combination of fashion internships and required design courses made apparent the fact that my calling was aesthetically geared. After 2 years I found myself the Publisher’s Assistant at a seasonal lifestyle publication called Bleu. Within months, after creating the company’s weekly e-newsletter, I was appointed Design Director. My role shifted from administrative to becoming the sole-designer of each issue from conception to print with little formal design education. After my 4th issue I decided to part ways with the publication and focus on an education in Graphic Design and Fashion Studies at Parsons. I have since interned at brand-focused creative agency AR New York, gaining key team experience while creatively assisting on accounts such as Jimmy Choo, Banana Republic and St. Regis Hotels; and have worked as a freelance designer and art director for independent book publishers, LGBT organizations and non-profits. I’m currently the Assistant E-commerce Manager at New York based fashion retailer Oak, also contributing to Oak’s social media presence as a photographer and blog content creator.
